Parasite Testing & Prevention
- Heartworm test (dogs only)
- Heartworm & tick test (dogs only)
- Feline Leukemia test (cats only)
- **Fecal tests for intestinal parasites like round worms, hook worms, tape worms and whip worms. (dogs & cats)
**Please bring your pets’ fecal sample in a zip-lock bag. They are going to be so glad you grabbed a sample from the back yard or litter box vs. us getting a sample! Just trust us on this!
Microchips & Other Testing
We offer the HomeAgain Temp Scan chip . Not only will this microchip help your pet find his/her way back home if lost, but when scanned at a veterinary office will also tell us your pet's temperature.....a great 2 for 1 option helping to prevent a future of uncomfortable rectal thermometers for your pet.Other Testing
At our clinic we can also offer other blood work including CBC/internal organ function, ear cytology testing, urinalysis and much more. Appointments that require these tests will require a Complete Exam and Consultation for your pet and must be discussed with our veterinarian first. We send all samples to Midwest Veterinary Laboratory in St. Louis and results usually take 3-5 business days.
